Writing does not fully express what is in words and words do not fully express what is in hearts.

A friend who was reading, Tao of Physics, mentioned:

‘Words limit the expression of feelings’.

Recollecting the words now it does seem true. Words limit the feelings associated with them, restrain them in words and often misinterpret or partially display the real meaning behind the words.

Another saying, from Kahlil Gibran, says (and this one is close to me) :

A thought is a bird of space, that in a cage of words may indeed unfold its wings but cannot fly!

All this while we grew up learning words as English teachers would say, words, help you express yourself. May be, they meant, words help to talk about things that are mundane, may be things that just need reporting but not feelings that come from the heart!
